A remarkable 1947 leather-bound Masonic Bible, combining scripture with material devoted to the history, symbolism, and traditions of Freemasonry.
More than a devotional book, this volume offers a glimpse into the private world of mid-century Masonic life. Its pages include Masonic material alongside biblical text, while the heavily worn leather binding speaks to decades of handling and use.
Most compelling is the history attached to this particular copy. Among its contents is a certificate naming Charles Wendell Fishpaw, documenting his consecration by the Grand Council of Anointed High Priests of the State of Ohio on October 1, 1947.

CONDITION
In as-found vintage condition with substantial wear consistent with age and use. The leather cover shows heavy surface wear, and the binding is separating in areas while remaining intact. Interior pages may show discoloration, creasing, and other signs of age.
