An evocative antique hand mirror with an ornate Baroque-style frame, delicate bow detail, and beautifully aged silvered glass.
Time has transformed the reflective surface with heavy spotting and silvering, creating a hazy, imperfect reflection that gives the mirror an especially mysterious character. Rather than diminishing the piece, the aged glass has become one of its most compelling features.
Beautiful as an old vanity object in its own right, the mirror also lends itself naturally to scrying, divination, and glamour magick, or as a ritual mirror upon an Aphrodite altar.
Romantic, timeworn, and wonderfully atmospheric—an object whose age has only made it more intriguing.

Antique Baroque-style hand mirror with aged silvered glass.
Approx. 18" long × 6" wide.
CONDITION
In as-found antique condition with considerable wear throughout. The mirror has heavy silvering and spotting, and the frame is somewhat loose at the joints. There is also paint loss, discoloration, and other age-related imperfections.
The aged mirror surface has been left intact and is an important part of the character of the piece.
