Vintage Baroque Lady Portrait Wall Plaques — Pair

THE OBJECT

A romantic pair of vintage wall plaques, each framing the portrait of an elegantly dressed woman within deep red velvet and ornate gold-toned decoration.

Though diminutive in scale, the rich velvet, oval portraits, and elaborate frames give the pair the feeling of miniature ancestral portraits—small faces from another era tucked among the objects of The Cabinet.

Displayed together or incorporated into a larger gallery wall, they bring a wonderfully old-world sense of romance and ornament.
