Vintage Foxed Glass Wall Mirror

THE OBJECT

A wonderfully timeworn vintage wall mirror with a simple wooden frame, gracefully curved crest, and small turned finial. The original reflective surface has developed extensive foxing, creating a mottled, clouded appearance that gives the glass an almost spectral quality.

More atmospheric than functional, this diminutive mirror feels like a relic from a forgotten room, its obscured reflection offering only glimpses of what stands before it.

A haunting little addition to a Gothic gallery wall, antique vanity, or cabinet of curiosities.
